FOUNDING COHORT · ONE MONTH

Stop sounding like every other podcast host.

Your voice makes people listen. The professional mask you put on it repels them.

Learn to access the voice your podcast needs in this month-long, low-commitment, high-impact training where you'll find your most magnetic sound — before you spend your budget marketing a show that isn't yet your best.

One email when the cohort opens. Nothing you didn't ask for.

The best hosts make it look easy. What makes a show stand out isn't its structure, and it's definitely not its marketing — it's you, behind the mic and in front of the camera: the way you talk, your passion, your connection to what you're saying. That's what brings people back.

If your show isn't getting the results you want, or you tense up when you hit record and know you're not showing up at your best — this training is built for you.

"Before I worked with Dave, nervousness sometimes made it so I didn't quite sound like myself while recording. Dave helped me see that you can follow a script and still embrace your particular voice; now, when I listen back to my tape, I hear myself far more clearly."

— Madison Goldberg, host, Ask MIT Climate

WHAT CHANGES

The difference is concrete: listeners turn into clients, guests say yes because you sound like someone worth talking to, and the show finally pulls its weight for your business.

HOW IT WORKS

A small group. Hour-long live trainings with your mic on. Office hours for 1:1 support. Real reps, and enough flexibility to fit a busy leader's schedule.

Each week we work live — on your voice, your instincts, and the podcasting fundamentals most hosts are never taught. Bring your own scripts or recordings, and leave each session sounding more like yourself, not less.

PLUS — bonus sessions with marketing and analytics specialists, producers, and other experts, for the questions that come up as you grow the show around your new voice. The cohort is the main event; these are here when you want them.

WHO IT'S FOR

  • A host who's recording, but the show — or the interviews — aren't landing the way they hoped.
  • An executive on the company show who comes off like a press release instead of a person.
  • A guest whose appearances aren't creating explosive growth in their business.
  • A founder or consultant whose podcast should be making sales and building a list, and isn't.

BE READY FOR THE MOMENT

If Diary of a CEO called tomorrow, would you be ready?

If you booked the call next week, could you put your best foot forward?

Let's get you there.

WHO'S TEACHING

Led by David Lishansky, founder of David Benjamin Sound — 40+ shows produced for MIT, BCG, and MIT Sloan Management Review. The method was built working with leaders, researchers, and academics at some of the world's most demanding institutions.

Dave started in podcasting on one idea: real human connection can make the world better. But when we hide the most human thing we have — our voice — our shows never reach the people they could. AI is making the point for us: nothing beats talking to a real person. Few of us have stopped to ask whether we still sound like one.
